I'm Sander Vill, an international wedding photographer working in Europe. My biggest passion is to capture the most authentic emotions and purest moments. I would describe my approach as emotional, cinematic, moody and romantic. It's definitely not a regular one. With the specialized connection I'm able to capture the most authentic emotions.
When I'm not in a wedding I love to cycle, watch F1, enjoy pizza with pineapple and plan my next adventure. I'm truly not a beach holiday type of guy. I want to feel I'm alive and not take a nap. Even though I really should.

My meaning to capture weddings is not a regular one. I don't want to photograph weddings as it's a documentary. I want to memorize weddings as they are movies. To purposely have people, moments, light and emotions connected and tell a story together. My passion is to take wedding photos that emotional, genuine, sincere and authentic. I'm not interested of making a technically perfect photo. I want to frame memories that meaningful, pure and giving you a true essence like you would have been there living the moment.
I use guidance & instructions, mix of cinematic and film look style of photography and authentic approach when working with people to truly connect emotions and bring true feelings visible.
Every wedding photography I do includes documentary wedding photography. It means I will live the day with you to capture the most meaningful moments as they born. I memorize you, your friends and family. I love to be excited with you in the morning and witness your best dance moves in the evening.
Portrait photography is the time for only you two during the day. We will pick a location that has a meaning for you to memorize your pure and authentic emotions to truly capture you as true yourself. I want the wedding portraits to feel safe for you now and your whole lifetime. To be a ticket to relive the day's emotions.
Guidance and giving instructions are as important on a wedding day as the memory cards are. No one feels safe and connected being in front of the camera without guidance. During the wedding portraits, group photos and every other moment you need guidance I will be there. I will create ideas, emotions and stories.

In January 2025 I was asked to be one of speakers of Love Me do Wedding Fair. I'm not a public speaker by any means but I was so taken by the invitation so I chose to go for it!

Get to know the process and get in touch
The first step is to get in touch and send me a message. I will tell you about the availability, packages and other information that is good to know. Sending me a message and asking for availability and packages doesn't obviously commit you to anything. Get in touch and let's start from there!
After hearing about your wedding I will suggest you a package. You can naturally pick a package by yourself, but I'm more than ready to help you to find the perfect coverage for your day. Documentary wedding photography packages are in between 8-12 hours and sometimes they are even up to 14 hours. The typical amount of clients investing into my documentary wedding photography is usually around 2400 - 3500.00 euros.
Not always the longest package is the best, so I'm happy to find you a good option. For a non-season there is also an option for 6 hour package. Send me a message and I will let you know about everything!
When we know our date and package we are ready to officially book the date! It's very exciting moment to truly make it real. We will sign a contract and I will send the invoice for the reservation fee. After signing the contract and finalizing the reservation fee the booking is official. If you have any questions about the reservation, cancellation or re-booking policies please let me know. You can also find a FAQ section in the end of this page!
Now is the time to get very excited! Let's plan the day. I love to have the official wedding photography meeting only in around 1-3 weeks before the wedding to be able to truly go through every detail of the day. Then we go through everything, find a spot for wedding portraits and I give you an information that helps you to organize the group photos and other photography parts of the day. Besides having the official meeting really close to a wedding we will be in touch earlier.
Usually it's good to know some parts of the schedule earlier so we either send messages or we can have a second short meeting about 3-6 months before the wedding to go through the larger plans such as the schedule, possible travel information and other details that are important for wedding photography! I'm available for the full time and always ready to help or give you my ideas!
It's the wedding day! I will document one of your most important days of your life. I'm honored to be part of those moments. In portraits and group photos I will guide you and give you the instructions. During the morning, ceremony and reception I will document everything from the side. I'm trying to be as one of the quests and be as close to your emotions as possible. When we come to a point where photographing coverage is coming to an end I will let you know and thank you for the day.
If you would like to expand the package or for example the schedule is running a little bit late you can always add extra hours even on the evening of a wedding day. I will not leave before your most meaningful moments are being captured.
As soon as the next day I will send you a Sneak Peek -gallery to see and use the very first photos of your beautiful day. You can share them with friends, family and guests or you can already update your Instagram with a new post! In 4-6 weeks after the wedding you will receive the full large wedding gallery that is collecting the full day of emotions of your wedding.
The gallery is available for 6 months and you can share it with your close ones! The invoice will be delivered after the wedding. Now you have an image gallery you can go back forever to re-live one of the most meaningful days of your life.

I. When is a good time to get in touch?
Always as soon as possible! Especially the most wanted dates can be booked for a long time ahead. Even though it's good to be in touch early don't be scared to send a message in a last minute. Sometimes there can be rebooking or something else so the date can be available.
II. I don't have previous experience being in front of the camera, does it matter?
It really doesn't and for most of my clients this is the very first time being in front of a professional photographer. I will give you the full guidance and all the other instructions you need so you are totally covered. I will also help you make the preparations and planning for the shoot so there is truly nothing to worry about.
III. Where do I Work?
I work in whole Europe. Most of my weddings and elopements take place in Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia & Iceland. If you are planning a wedding or elopement in some other country don't hesitate to reach out. I love different cultures and I'm very happy to capture a wedding in a new country!
IV. Are your travel costs included in the package?
Yes, they are! I always give you the price that's including all the costs. It's including the photography services, but also the travel costs if needed such as flights, accommodation and possible car rental. There's no hide expenses.
V. How much time should I reserve for a wedding portraits on a wedding day?
Usually the best duration for wedding portraits is about 60 - 90 minutes + possible time for moving one place to another. But don't worry if you can't have as much time for the portraits. We can do a smaller coverage for example in 15 - 30 minutes of we can even do a reservation for 2 hours if we truly want to invest into portraits. I always go through your plans in the meeting and there we will set up a plan!
VI. What are cancellation and reservation policies for wedding shoots?
The reservation fee for a documentary wedding photography is 10% or maximum 400.00 euros (depending of the package) of the full package and the fee will be reduced from the main invoice. The reservation fee is non-refundable. In case of cancellation or rebooking the reservation fee will be lost but there is no cancellation fee.
VII. are you doing wedding films as well?
No, not anymore. I used to do wedding films in the past, but then I found my photographing style. My style to photography takes more time and special equipment, which is the reason I'm focusing only on wedding photography. I'm really happy to work with other videographers and I can also help you to find one if needed!
VIII. Can we have a free online call before the booking?
Yes, of course! Just reach out to me and let me know about your wish. I will then set up a meeting so we can get to know each other! The meeting does not require you to make the booking, so feel free to reach out.
IX. Can we pay in different currency?
Yes, you can. I'm taking all of my international payments through Stripe where you can pay with any currency you have and it will be changed to euros.
